How to Sell Men's Clothes on Vinted
Menswear buyers ask about fit and fabric more than trends: the categories to list, the measurements to give and how to price without guessing.

- Vinted doesn't publish menswear demand data — judge it from comparable listings that left the market and from favourites, not from a general claim.
- Buyers ask for exact measurements more than a size label: shoulders, pit to pit, sleeve and length for tops; waist and inseam for trousers. Wrong size is a valid Significantly Not As Described claim.
- Photograph flat or on a hanger with detail shots of fabric, label and flaws — Vinted's Catalogue Rules require real photos of the actual item.
- Price by brand tier and condition, not by gender; bundle discounts add one combined fee per order instead of one per item.
- Counterfeit risk rises with brand value — never suggest a listing that skips authenticity questions on designer pieces.
Menswear does move on Vinted, but the platform gives sellers almost no official numbers to plan around. This page covers what to list first, the measurements men actually ask about, how to photograph clothing without a model, and where a bundle discount helps rather than hurts. For the full setup, see the complete Vinted reseller guide.
Is menswear worth selling on Vinted?
Vinted does not publish sales or demand figures by gender, category or brand — there is no official percentage to cite for "how well menswear sells" one way or the other. Treat any number you see elsewhere as someone else's estimate, not a Vinted figure.
A more useful signal than a general claim is what is in front of you: comparable menswear items that have already left the market at a given price, and how many favourites your own listings pick up in the first few days. Both tell you more about your specific brand, size and condition than a category-wide average would.
What to list first: categories and brand tiers
A few menswear categories tend to be straightforward to list and describe well, as practical starting points rather than a ranked "what sells best":
- Outerwear — coats, field jackets, technical shells
- Knitwear — jumpers, cardigans, half-zips
- Shirts — oxford, flannel, casual button-ups
- Jeans and other denim
- Workwear and technical outdoor pieces
Brands roughly split into three tiers: high street, premium, and designer. As the tier and price rise, so does the risk of counterfeit stock entering the pool of "comparable" items — treat any designer piece without a receipt, box or verifiable provenance with extra caution, and never list something you can't stand behind as authentic.
Pricing menswear by brand and condition
Price follows brand tier and condition far more than gender. A rough five-level ladder for a used men's wool coat in good condition, with illustrative zł values only:
For the general method behind a ladder like this, see how to price items on Vinted. If you're pricing streetwear specifically, brand hype and drop cycles change the picture — the streetwear resale guide covers that separately rather than repeating it here.
Fit details men ask about
Buyers of men's clothing lean on flat measurements more than the size tag, because "M" or "32" varies a lot between brands and cuts. What matters changes by garment type:
| Shoulders | Pit to pit | Sleeve | Length | Waist | Inseam | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coat or jacket | YesRequired | YesRequired | YesRequired | YesRequired | NoSkip | NoSkip |
| Knitwear | YesRequired | YesRequired | YesRequired | PartlyUseful | NoSkip | NoSkip |
| Shirt | YesRequired | YesRequired | YesRequired | PartlyUseful | NoSkip | NoSkip |

| Suit jacket | YesRequired | YesRequired | YesRequired | YesRequired | PartlyUseful | NoSkip |
For the full step-by-step on how to take each measurement, see how to measure clothes for Vinted. It's worth the extra minute: Vinted's Significantly Not As Described list includes an incorrect size as a valid claim reason, while a buyer simply not liking the fit is not.

Photos without a model
Without a model, the item has to do the talking. Three angles cover most listings:
- Flat lay on a clean, plain surface, buttoned or zipped as it would be worn
- On a hanger against a door or rail, straight on, no clutter behind it
- Close-up detail shots: fabric texture, the care label, and any flaw or repair
Vinted's Catalogue Rules require real photos of the actual item — not stock photos, not images pulled from a retailer's listing. That rule also protects you: buyers who can see the real fabric and a close-up of any flaw are far less likely to open a Significantly Not As Described claim afterward.
Bundles for buyers who want several pieces
A buyer who wants more than one of your pieces — say a shirt and a pair of jeans — can often be nudged into a bundle rather than two separate orders. Standard sellers can set a discount per item count, and the buyer pays a single Buyer Protection fee and a single shipping fee for the whole bundle, not one per item. See setting up bundle discounts on Vinted for where to turn that on and what it changes for the buyer's total.
Sourcing menswear to resell
Before sourcing more menswear, check the margin math holds up on your actual costs and typical selling price, not just the sticker price at the source. Vinted accounts are meant for personal use, and Vinted itself notes that commercial-looking activity can lead to account restrictions; Vinted Pro is not available in Poland, so treat the account as a private-seller account and size your activity accordingly.
