Vinted Shipping Options in Poland: Which Carriers to Enable
InPost, ORLEN Paczka, DPD, Pocztex, DHL and GLS: what the seller controls, what the buyer picks and what cannot be changed after payment.

- Vinted's Polish carrier page (checked 14 Sept 2026) lists InPost, ORLEN Paczka, DPD, the Poczta Polska group, DHL and GLS — the app shows which of these you can actually offer.
- Sellers toggle carriers on or off, but at least one option must stay available; changes only apply to future orders, not ones already placed.
- Compensation caps published on vinted.pl differ sharply by carrier: InPost up to 200 zł, GLS up to 6,000 zł domestically, DHL Express up to 63 zł, verification services up to 2,250 zł — other carriers list no published cap.
- Once the buyer has paid, package size and carrier are locked; if an uncollected parcel goes back to the seller, the order is cancelled and the buyer refunded, but Vinted does not say who pays for the return.
- Vinted's shipping and fee rules may change after its new Terms take effect on 8 October 2026 in Poland — worth a check of the live help pages after that date.
Sellers on vinted.pl choose which carriers to offer, and the buyer picks and pays for shipping at checkout on top of your item price. This page covers the carriers actually named on Vinted's Polish help pages, how to turn options on or off, home pickup versus drop-off points, why the package size locks after payment, and what happens when a buyer never collects a parcel.

How Vinted shipping works in Poland
The buyer chooses the shipping method at checkout and pays for it; you, the seller, only decide which carriers are switched on in your settings. Once an order is placed, Vinted issues you a prepaid label — you never buy postage yourself. General shipping deadlines across Vinted, OLX and Allegro Lokalnie are covered in marketplace shipping rules; in short, you have 5 business days to send the parcel once it's paid for.
The carriers on vinted.pl and what each is good for
Vinted's carrier terms page for Poland, checked 14 Sept 2026, names these options: InPost Paczkomat 24/7 and InPost Kurier, ORLEN Paczka, DPD Pickup and DPD Home, the Poczta Polska group (MiniPaczka, Pocztex, Pocztex Punkt, Pocztex Automat), DPD with item or electronics verification, DHL, DHL Express and GLS. The page doesn't publish prices or size and weight limits for any of them — you see your live options and their limits inside the app, and the buyer sees the price at checkout.

For an item worth more than a carrier's published cap, picking one with a higher limit matters more than convenience — see what to do if a Vinted parcel is lost or damaged for how compensation claims actually work.

Turning shipping options on and off
Vinted's settings page (checked 14 Sept 2026) explains that available carriers depend on your location, and you can switch individual options on or off from your shipping settings. At least one option has to stay available — the page doesn't say the same one is mandatory for every seller, so which option you can't turn off may depend on your account. Any change you make only applies to orders placed after that point; it doesn't touch orders already in progress.
Drop-off point or home pickup
For carriers that offer both, Vinted's settings page describes two ways to hand over a parcel: "Z domu" (from home, the carrier collects) or "W punkcie nadania" (at a drop-off point you take it to yourself). Home pickup saves you a trip but usually means waiting in for a collection window; a drop-off point — a locker or a shop counter — fits better if you're out during the day or want to send several parcels at once. Vinted doesn't publish a price difference between the two on this page, so don't assume one costs you more than the other.

Package size: why it cannot be changed after payment
Vinted's package size help page (checked 14 Sept 2026) says that if your packed item exceeds the limits of every shipping option you offer, it can't be listed at all — so check your item fits before you publish. Once a buyer has paid, the package size and carrier are fixed; you can't switch to a bigger box or a different carrier partway through. The same page recommends packing snugly, filling empty space so the item doesn't shift, and photographing the item and the parcel both inside and outside before you seal it — useful evidence if anything is disputed later. The Vinted packaging guide covers fitting items to a size class in more detail.
When the buyer never collects the parcel
Vinted's help page on parcel pickup (checked 14 Sept 2026) says the carrier sends the buyer a pickup code, and how long the parcel waits before it's returned depends on the carrier — the page doesn't give a single number that applies everywhere. If the buyer never collects it, the parcel goes back to you, the order is cancelled automatically, and the buyer is refunded. Vinted's page does not say who pays for that return leg, so don't promise a buyer either way.
- 1Buyer paysSeller gets a prepaid label, picks drop-off or home pickup
- 2Parcel reaches the pointCarrier notifies the buyer with a pickup code
- 3Buyer collects itOrder continues as normal
- 4Buyer does not collect itParcel returns to the seller, order is cancelled, buyer is refunded
A simple carrier setup for a small reseller
Offer at least one locker option (InPost Paczkomat or ORLEN Paczka) for buyers who want to collect at any hour, plus one courier option for larger or higher-value items where a bigger compensation cap matters. Review your active carriers occasionally — a locker that's inconvenient for most of your buyers is worth switching off if Vinted lets you. Keep basic packing supplies on hand so you're never scrambling on shipping day.

If you're away and can't ship on time, Vinted's holiday mode pauses new orders instead of risking a missed deadline.
- Offer at least one locker and one courier option
- Check your item fits the size limit before you publish the listing
- Pick a carrier with a higher compensation cap for higher-value items
- Photograph the item and the sealed parcel before drop-off
- Turn on holiday mode instead of accepting orders you can't ship on time
One date worth flagging: Vinted's updated Terms take effect 8 October 2026 in Poland, and shipping or fee details could change alongside them — compare the live help pages against this one after that date, and see the Vinted fees and OLX vs Vinted pages for how delivery costs compare across marketplaces.
