eBay Poland (eBay.pl) Fees for Private Sellers

No free private selling in Poland: what you pay per listing and per sale.

Breakdown of a 300 zł eBay.pl sale into final value fee, per-order fee, regulatory fee, postage, item cost and profit
Key takeaways
  • eBay.pl private sellers pay 11% of the total sale up to 9,990 zł (2% on the part above), plus 1.35 zł per order, or 0.25 zł on orders under 50 zł (eBay.pl help page, checked 13 Sept 2026).
  • The regulatory operating fee is 0.43% on the help page and 0.35% + VAT in Strefa Sprzedawcy. Use 0.43% for price floors until your invoice shows which one applies.
  • Because of the per-order fee step, an order of 50 zł up to about 51.23 zł pays out less than one at 49.99 zł.
  • 150 listings a month are free, then 1.50 zł each. On listing fees alone, Mały sklep (89 zł a month) starts to pay from about 210 listings a month.
  • In this page's worked example, a 300 zł item with 20 zł buyer-paid postage costs 37.93 zł in eBay fees, 12.6% of the item price.

eBay Poland fees for private sellers come in three parts when an item sells: an 11% final value fee on the total sale up to 9,990 zł, a per-order fee of 0.25 zł or 1.35 zł, and a regulatory operating fee that two official eBay.pl pages state differently. Unlike eBay UK and eBay.de, eBay.pl has no free-selling scheme for private sellers. Listing is free up to 150 listings a month.

Every figure below comes from eBay.pl's help page "Opłaty dla prywatnych sprzedawców" and its Strefa Sprzedawcy fee page, both checked on 13 September 2026. Business-seller fees on eBay.pl weren't part of our research, so they aren't covered here.

eBay Poland fees at a glance

At the time of writing (September 2026), the help page lists these charges and says they include Polish VAT.

Fee Private seller, eBay.pl
Free listings 150 a month, then 1.50 zł per listing
Final value fee 11% of the total sale up to 9,990 zł; 2% on the part above
Per-order fee 0.25 zł under 50 zł; 1.35 zł otherwise
Regulatory operating fee 0.43% (help page) or 0.35% + VAT (Strefa Sprzedawcy)
Upgrades Subtitle 2.20 zł; second category 1.50 zł; bold and up to 24 photos free
Mały sklep 89 zł a month
Currency conversion (PL-registered) 3%

Free listing allowance and listing fees

Each listing after the first 150 in a month costs 1.50 zł, whether or not the item sells. Automatic relists and Good 'Til Cancelled renewals don't use up the allowance and aren't charged. Manual relists do use it up.

Decision rule: if an item didn't sell, let eBay relist it automatically rather than relisting it by hand. Once you pass 150 listings in a month, every manual relist costs another 1.50 zł, plus any upgrades you add again.

eBay.pl final value fee and per-order fee

The final value fee is charged on the "total sale", which the help page doesn't define in the text we captured. eBay UK's business fee page defines it as item price plus postage and taxes, so assume buyer-paid postage is included until your invoice shows otherwise. Does the final value fee include shipping explains why that matters.

Example: a 12,000 zł sale pays 11% on the first 9,990 zł (1,098.90 zł) plus 2% on the remaining 2,010 zł (40.20 zł). That makes 1,139.10 zł in total.

The per-order fee is a flat amount, and its 1.10 zł jump at 50 zł creates a small pricing trap:

Example: what you receive around the 50 zł per-order threshold
45 zł order39.8 zł
49.99 zł order44.24 zł
50 zł order43.15 zł
51 zł order44.04 zł
52 zł order44.93 zł
11% final value fee plus per-order fee only; the regulatory fee (under 0.23 zł here) and postage are left out.Illustrative example, not market data

Decision rule: if the total comes to between 50 zł and about 51.23 zł, price it at 49.99 zł instead. You receive more. The help page doesn't say whether postage counts toward the 50 zł, so check one invoice first.

Regulatory operating fee: two official numbers

Example: on a 320 zł total sale, 0.43% is 1.38 zł, while 0.35% is 1.12 zł before VAT. Use 0.43% when you set a minimum price, because it's the higher figure. Then check the fee line on your first invoice.

The eBay.pl preset in the marketplace fee calculator leaves this fee out. To include it, enter 11.43 instead of 11.

International fees for Polish sellers

When a PL-registered private seller delivers outside the Eurozone and Sweden, the help page adds an international fee. We captured three values:

Delivery to International fee
Rest of Europe 1.97%
US and Canada 1.48%
Other countries 4.06%

The table didn't extract cleanly and we couldn't match a UK value to its column, so check the page before selling abroad. Example: if the 1.48% rate applies, a 320 zł sale to a US buyer costs another 4.74 zł.

eBay.de is a separate route. Its private-seller page says selling within Germany is free for private sellers resident in the EEA, which includes Poland, and it charges 5% on delivery outside Germany. eBay Germany fees has the conditions.

eBay Mały sklep: when it pays for itself

Mały sklep costs 89 zł a month and includes 250 free listings. After those, each fixed-price listing costs 0.60 zł and each auction 1.50 zł. Count new listings and manual relists only, and compare listing fees:

without Mały sklep = (listings − 150) × 1.50 zł with Mały sklep = 89 zł + (fixed-price listings − 250) × 0.60 zł

Treat a negative result in brackets as zero. 89 zł buys 59.3 extra listings at 1.50 zł, so the subscription starts to pay from about 210 listings a month. That threshold holds whether the 250 free listings replace the standard 150 or come on top of them.

Decision rule: if your busier months stay under about 210 listings, skip it. The pages we read don't say whether Mały sklep changes any other fee.

Worked example in zł: a 300 zł item on eBay.pl

Say you bought a jacket for 120 zł and sell it for 300 zł. The buyer pays 20 zł postage and your label costs 20 zł. The sale is domestic, it's within your free listings and it has no upgrades.

final value fee = 320 × 11% = 35.20 zł per-order fee = 1.35 zł regulatory fee = 320 × 0.43% = 1.38 zł eBay fees = 37.93 zł (12.6% of the item price) net profit = 320 − 37.93 − 20 − 120 = 142.07 zł
Example: where a 320 zł eBay.pl sale goes
Total sale (300 zł item + 20 zł postage)320 zł
  • Final value fee, 11%35.2 zł
  • Per-order fee1.35 zł
  • Regulatory fee, 0.43%1.38 zł
  • Postage label20 zł
  • Jacket cost120 zł
  • Net profit142.07 zł
Assumes postage counts toward the total sale and uses the help page's 0.43% regulatory fee.Illustrative example, not market data

If postage turns out to sit outside the fee base, the fees fall by 2.29 zł. If it's your 151st listing of the month, add 1.50 zł. To run your own numbers, use the resale profit calculator. To see how eBay.pl fits alongside Vinted and Allegro Lokalnie, see how to calculate reselling profit.

Where to compare eBay.pl with Allegro

Comparing headline rates between the two can mislead you. eBay.pl's private-seller amounts include VAT, while Allegro's price list gives net commission ranges by category (up to 11.5% net in Moda), calculated on item price plus delivery. Allegro fees by category has the rates, and eBay vs Allegro for sellers in Poland compares the two side by side.

reva doesn't read eBay; it covers Vinted, OLX and Allegro Lokalnie. The method on this page works the same way there: work out the fee on what the buyer pays, then decide whether the price is worth taking.

Frequently asked questions

Does eBay charge private sellers in Poland?
Yes. eBay.pl has no free-selling scheme for private sellers, unlike eBay UK and eBay.de. According to its private-seller fee page (checked 13 September 2026), you pay a final value fee when an item sells, a fixed fee on every order and a regulatory operating fee. Listing is free up to 150 listings a month. The page says its amounts include Polish VAT.
What is eBay's per-order fee in Poland?
It is 0.25 zł when the order is under 50 zł and 1.35 zł otherwise, on top of the percentage fee. Because the fee jumps by 1.10 zł at 50 zł, an order just over that line can pay out less than one just under it. The help page doesn't say whether postage counts toward the 50 zł, so check an invoice.
Is Mały sklep worth it?
On listing fees alone, it depends on how many new and manually relisted items you list each month. Without it, every listing after 150 costs 1.50 zł. With it you pay 89 zł a month, and fixed-price listings after 250 cost 0.60 zł. The subscription starts to pay from about 210 listings a month. Automatic relists don't use the allowance, so leave them out of the count.
Why do eBay.pl pages show different regulatory fees?
eBay.pl's help page gives 0.43% of the total sale and says its fees include VAT. Its Strefa Sprzedawcy page gives 0.35% plus VAT as a flat rate for Poland, introduced on 8 April 2024. One may be the other with VAT added, but neither page says so. Use 0.43% for a minimum price and compare it with your first invoice.
