Vestiaire Collective Fees for Sellers
The current fee structure for designer resellers, from the official FAQ.

- Vestiaire's GBP fee page shows one 12% selling fee band for items priced £83–£16,667, not a five-tier 12–25% scale.
- Below £83 the selling fee is a fixed £10, so a £40 item gives up 25% of its price before processing.
- Above £16,667 the selling fee is capped at £2,000, which is 10% of a £20,000 item.
- Payment processing adds 3%, shown with £3, which the page layout suggests is a minimum.
- Professional sellers qualify for the Reduced commission rate when monthly cancellations are 10% of sales or fewer.

Vestiaire Collective seller fees for items listed in pounds are a 12% selling fee on prices from £83 to £16,667, a fixed £10 below that band, a fixed £2,000 above it, and 3% payment processing on top. That is what Vestiaire's GBP seller fees page said when we checked it on 13 September 2026. Blog posts that describe a "five-tier 12–25%" scale contradict the official page.
Below: each part of the fee, when it took effect, the reduced professional rate and three worked examples. The profit method for every marketplace is in the reselling profit guide.
Vestiaire Collective seller fees: the current model
| Item price (GBP listing) | Selling fee | Payment processing |
|---|---|---|
| Below £83 | £10 fixed | 3% or £3 |
| £83 to £16,667 | 12% | 3% or £3 |
| Above £16,667 | £2,000 fixed | 3% or £3 |
The page states that selling fees include VAT, GST or US sales tax where applicable. If you're used to fees quoted before VAT, don't add VAT again on top of the Vestiaire figures.
Vestiaire's archived page, "Seller Selling Fees until January 11th 2026", shows the older UK model: 12% standard, 5% on more than 4,000 selected brands for UK sellers (items £100–£40,000), and £5 fixed under £100. If a blog quotes a 5% rate or a £5 minimum, it's describing the old fees.
- Selling fee
- Selling fee + processing, if £3 is the processing minimum
Here the seller pays. Depop charges UK sellers no selling fee, and Vinted charges the buyer. Vinted vs Vestiaire Collective weighs whether 12% is worth paying for a designer piece.
Below £83: the £10 fixed fee
Under £83 the selling fee doesn't shrink with the price. It stays at £10.
Example: a £40 scarf pays £10, which is 25% of its price. A £25 belt pays the same £10, which is 40%.
Decision rule: if an item would list on Vestiaire for under about £83, work out the payout with the £10 fee before you list it. A cheaper piece from a designer brand may net more on a platform whose fee scales down with the price. The best resale marketplaces in Europe page sets out those alternative fee models by country.
Above £16,667: the £2,000 cap
At the top end the selling fee stops at £2,000. That's 12% of £16,667, so there is no jump at the threshold.
Example: a £20,000 watch or bag pays a £2,000 selling fee, which is 10%. At £40,000 the same £2,000 is 5%.
Our research recorded no cap on processing. If there is none, 3% of a very high price is charged in full. On a £40,000 item that 3% comes to £1,200, more than half the capped selling fee.
Payment processing: 3% or £3
The GBP page lists processing as "3%" alongside "£3". The layout suggests £3 is a minimum. The US version of the same page, read through a summarizer, states a $3 minimum, which supports that reading. On that basis:
Below £100, 3% is less than £3, so the floor would apply to every item under £100. Our research didn't capture whether the 3% is charged on the item price alone or on price plus shipping. The examples on this page use the item price. Receipts, serials and a dust bag can lift what a buyer pays, and every pound they add is charged at the fee rate for that price band. Designer bag resale covers how that documentation affects price.
When the new fees apply: GBP, EUR and PLN dates
The fee page ties the current fees to when an item was listed. Its wording is: "new items listed from July 18th, 2025 onwards, in GBP from March 9th, 2026 onwards and in EUR,DKK,SEK,PNL from June 9th, 2026 onwards". "PNL" is presumably a typo for PLN.
| Listing currency | Current fees apply to items listed from |
|---|---|
| Not named (first date in the sentence) | 18 July 2025 |
| GBP | 9 March 2026 |
| EUR, DKK, SEK, PLN | 9 June 2026 |
- The GBP dates don't line up. The archived page runs the old UK fees "until January 11th 2026", but the new ones start on 9 March 2026. Our research found nothing on the weeks between. If you listed then, check the fee shown on the item.
- No euro or złoty amounts were captured. The thresholds and fixed fees here are GBP figures. Don't convert them; open the EUR version of the fee page first.
The PLN date matters for sellers in Poland. Where to sell clothes in Poland compares Vestiaire with the local options.
Professional sellers: standard vs reduced rate
Vestiaire's professional seller commission page describes two rates:
- Standard: equal to or lower than the general fees.
- Reduced: lower than the general fees.
The page we read ties the rate to one number:
Example: a pro seller with 40 sales and 4 cancellations in a month has a rate of 10% and qualifies for the reduced rate. With 5 cancellations, the rate is 12.5% and the seller stays on the standard rate.
The captured page gives neither rate's percentage and doesn't define a cancellation. Decision rule: if you're close to 10% in a month, one more cancellation can put you on the standard rate. Before you accept another order that month, check the item is in hand and ready to ship.
Worked examples: £60, £500 and £20,000 items
Example: three GBP listings at the current fees, a £3 processing minimum, no professional rate, and processing on the item price.
| £60 item | £500 item | £20,000 item | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Selling fee | £10 fixed | 12% = £60 | £2,000 cap |
| Processing | £3 (3% would be £1.80) | 3% = £15 | 3% = £600 |
| Total fees | £13 | £75 | £2,600 |
| Share of price | 21.7% | 15% | 13% |
| Left before shipping and cost | £47 | £425 | £17,400 |
To turn "left before shipping and cost" into profit, subtract what you paid and your postage. The maximum buy price calculator works that backwards into the most you can pay for an item.
reva doesn't support Vestiaire Collective. If you source designer stock on Vinted, OLX or Allegro Lokalnie to resell elsewhere, reva's Scout finds listings there priced below their market and gives each find an estimated price ladder. You then run the Vestiaire fees above against that estimate.
Run your own price through the fee calculator
The calculator computes Total fees as sale price × percentage fee + fixed fee per order, You receive as sale price − fees − Shipping you pay, and Effective fee rate as fees ÷ sale price. With one percentage and one fixed fee, each Vestiaire zone needs its own settings:
| Your GBP price | Percentage fee | Fixed fee per order |
|---|---|---|
| Below £83 | 0 | 13 (£10 selling + £3 processing) |
| £83 to £99.99 | 12 | 3 |
| £100 to £16,667 | 15, or the "Vestiaire Collective — UK" preset | 0 |
| Above £16,667 | 3 | 2,000 |
The preset's label covers £83–£16,667 and applies 15% flat. Below £100 that undercounts processing by up to 51p if £3 is the minimum. The marketplace fee calculator page explains how presets fill the boxes.
