Where to sell used clothes in Poland: quick answer by type

Vinted: no commission on clothes that post easily

The Polish price list (updated 15.09.2025) gives the Buyer Protection fee as "zwykle jest to 5% + 2,90 zł", paid by the buyer and shown at checkout; it varies with order value and type. The buyer also pays for shipping (UK help page), and you have 5 business days to ship before the order cancels automatically.

Three "significantly not as described" grounds on Vinted's UK help page hit clothes directly: incorrect size, undisclosed damage and different main materials. "Doesn't fit" isn't one. Rule: put measurements, the label's material and a photo of every mark in each listing.

The tighter limit is the account. Help page 1120 bars commercial selling from standard accounts and names signals such as many tagged items or identical items in several sizes. Allegro Lokalnie: when the 7.9% is worth paying

Only regular (private) Allegro accounts can list; business accounts can only buy. Kup teraz and auctions cost 7.9% of item value, charged once the buyer pays within 72 hours or fills in the delivery form, and refunded if you refund through Allegro. Local listings cost 0 zł.

Kup teraz and auction purchases carry Allegro Ochrona Kupujących, with a non-delivery claim possible after 14 days. Delivery is 10.95 zł via Allegro Paczkomaty InPost or 10.49 zł via Allegro One Box. A buyer without Smart!, or ordering under 45 zł (49.90 zł for Smart! activated after 1 March 2026), pays a flat 10.95 zł: example, over a third of a 30 zł top.

Rule: if the buyer can collect, post a local listing, not Kup teraz with pickup, which still triggers the 7.9%. If you ship, pay it only where Lokalnie holds a higher price (formula below). Smart! parcels and account rules in full: selling on Allegro Lokalnie.

OLX: local pickup and bulk lots

OLX's Annex 3 (effective 7 January 2026) gives business users 50 free Moda listings. The private column shows "-", which the annex doesn't explain, so read the counter in your account rather than assuming no limit.

For clothes, OLX's edge is the handover. Before you post:

• Say whether the listing is a single item, several units or a set
• One listing per item; ending and relisting within 14 days counts as a duplicate
• OLX delivery: confirm the sale within 72 hours, hand the parcel over within 3 working days
• Pakiet Ochronny: the buyer pays (amount not published) and has 48 hours to claim a size, colour or damage mismatch; an accepted claim returns at your cost
• Cash pickup agreed outside OLX delivery carries no Pakiet Ochronny

Allegro.pl: regular private accounts exist, limits not confirmed

Allegro's account comparison says regular accounts are for private individuals and business accounts for entrepreneurs. How much a regular account may sell on allegro.pl isn't in that article, and figures on third-party sites are unconfirmed.

Moda commission is up to 11.5% net, charged on item price plus delivery; the page doesn't say what a regular account pays on a net rate. Allegro's own example: a 200 zł item pays 19.40 zł, 11.5% on the first 110 zł and 7.5% on the other 90 zł, yet the same page says the lower rate starts "from 115 zł". Wyróżnienie in selected fashion categories costs 5.90 zł per 10 days plus extra commission.

Rule: as a private seller, Lokalnie is the Allegro option with fully published fees. Plan volume on allegro.pl only once your account shows what it can list, and price each piece in Allegro's fee calculator.

Designer and luxury pieces

Vinted's Polish help page 1147 sets Item Verification at 45 zł per item, paid by the buyer. It covers listed brands priced at 450 zł or more in clothing, bags, accessories, jewellery and shoes, on orders within Poland and between Poland and Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Romania, and never items bought in a bundle.

Rule: a listed-brand coat at 430 zł gets no verification option; at 450 zł it can. If the piece can hold 450 zł, don't list it just under, and don't bundle it.

Press reports on Vinted's October Terms give sellers 48 hours instead of 24 to provide authenticity evidence. Vestiaire Collective's fee page dates fees for "PNL" listings (presumably złoty) from 9 June 2026, amounts not captured. Details: Vinted item verification.

Children's clothes and bundles

Kids' clothes sell in groups, so bundle rules matter more than fees. A Vinted bundle must be labelled with one total price, and its items can't be listed separately at the same time. On OLX, Dla Dzieci gives business users 50 free listings (private "-" again), and a set must be declared. allegro.pl's Dziecko commission is 5–11.5% net.

Fees on a 60 zł and a 400 zł item

Example, before shipping and promotions: Vinted at the usual Polish formula, Lokalnie at 7.9% Kup teraz.
