How Vinted Showcase Works and How to Prepare Your Wardrobe

The rules from Vinted's help page, the wardrobe prep that decides whether a week of promotion is wasted, and a simple one-week test.

Key takeaways
  • Vinted Showcase (Wardrobe Spotlight) needs at least 5 items listed, runs for 7 consecutive days once activated, and highlights up to 15 listings that Vinted picks (help 452, checked 14 Sept 2026).
  • The price depends on the number and value of your listings; Vinted does not publish a price table, so treat any specific figure you see online as unverified.
  • Holiday mode does not extend a Showcase already running — it only hides your listings while the paid days keep counting down.
  • Views and interactions show in your profile while Showcase is active; what happens to the stats afterwards, or when a shown item sells, is not documented.

Vinted's Showcase — labelled Wardrobe Spotlight in the UK app — puts a batch of your listings in front of more buyers for a week, starting the moment you pay for it. It works across your wardrobe, not on one item, and Vinted doesn't publish a price list for it. This page covers the rules, what actually drives the price, and how to prepare your wardrobe and read the stats before deciding whether to run it again.

What Showcase does

Vinted's help page for Wardrobe Spotlight says it's activated immediately and highlights listings that members are most likely to buy, shown in the newsfeed and in search results as items matching their preferences and filters. That's different from a Bump, which lifts one listing at a time — Showcase works across a batch of your wardrobe at once. For the rest of running a Vinted shop, see the Vinted reseller guide.

The rules: 7 days, 5 items, up to 15 listings

Three numbers define it, all from Vinted's own help page:

7 daysruns for, once activated
5+ itemsminimum listed to qualify
15 listingsthe most it highlights, Vinted's pick

Vinted decides which of your listings get shown, not you, and its help page doesn't say whether you can stop a Showcase early or what happens to a listing that sells partway through — treat both as open questions rather than assuming either way.

What the price depends on

Vinted's help page says the price depends on the number and value of your listings: more listings, or higher-value ones, cost slightly more. It doesn't publish a price table or formula, and specific figures you might see quoted elsewhere don't come from Vinted, so don't rely on them — the app shows your exact price before you pay.

Prepare your wardrobe before you pay

Showcase highlights existing listings, it doesn't fix them, so the week before you buy it is the time to sort prices, retake weak photos and tighten descriptions on whatever's likely to be shown. Pull anything that's gone stale or that you'd rather not sell right now, since Vinted's algorithm — not you — chooses what appears.

Don't switch on holiday mode while a Showcase is running: it hides your listings but does not extend the Showcase, so you'd pay for visibility nobody sees.

Read the stats and run a one-week test

Before you buy, jot down a baseline: views, favourites, messages and sales over an ordinary week. Buy Showcase, then check the in-profile stats daily for the 7 days it runs, and compare the total against your baseline week rather than against a gut feeling.

For a single item instead of a whole wardrobe, is a Vinted Bump worth it covers that separately, and Bump vs a price drop helps choose between the two.

Either way, paid visibility changes who sees a listing for a while — it doesn't fix a price that's too high to begin with. How Vinted ranks listings has more on what else affects visibility once the week ends.

Frequently asked questions

How many items do I need for Vinted Showcase?
At least 5 items listed, according to Vinted's help page for Wardrobe Spotlight (Showcase). Once you meet that minimum, Showcase runs for 7 consecutive days and highlights up to 15 of your listings — Vinted picks which ones, based on what members are likely to buy.
Does holiday mode pause a Vinted Showcase?
No. Vinted's help page for holiday mode says it does not extend the length of a purchased Showcase or Bump, so switching holiday mode on mid-run just hides your listings while the paid days keep counting down underneath.
Where can I see how my Vinted Showcase performed?
In your profile, while it's active — Vinted's help page says views and interactions are visible there. It doesn't say whether those numbers stay visible afterwards or what happens once a shown item sells, so note your figures each day if you want to compare a full week.
