Can You See Sold Prices on Vinted?

What Vinted shows, what it doesn't, and how to estimate sold prices honestly.

A Vinted listing leaving the catalogue, with possible reasons (sold, reserved, hidden, deleted) marked unknown
Key takeaways
  • Vinted's pricing help article (checked 13 Sept 2026) points you to live listings of similar items and says nothing about sold prices, a sold filter or price history.
  • The 'Sold' label Vinted documents comes from a 'Mark as sold' button meant for deals outside its payment system, so it says nothing reliable about the price paid.
  • A listing can vanish because it sold, was reserved (hidden for up to 5 days), hidden, deleted, removed by Vinted, bundled or relisted, so log it as 'left the market', not 'sold'.
  • Estimate what similar items went for with the median last visible price of comparable exits, counting a listing only once it has stayed gone longer than a reservation lasts.
  • Vinted's terms ban screen scraping and crawling, and bots unless Vinted authorises them, so ask any tool or dataset promising Vinted sold prices how it collects its data.

Can you see sold items on Vinted? Not through any feature in the Vinted help articles we read. Its article on choosing a price tells you to "search the catalog for similar items to see how other members price them", which shows asking prices, not what anything sold for. The only "Sold" label those articles explain comes from a button sellers press for deals outside Vinted's payment system.

You can still estimate what similar items went for from comparable listings that disappear. Below: what Vinted's help pages and terms say, why a vanished listing may not have sold, and how to build an honest estimate. We did not test the app's filter menus, so we don't describe them. Can you see sold items on Vinted? The short answer

At the time of writing (September 2026):

Question Vinted's pages What to do
Sold filter or price history? Not mentioned Keep your own log
"Sold" label? For sales outside Vinted's payment system Not a price paid
Why listings vanish Sold, reserved, hidden, deleted, removed Log as "left the market"

What the Vinted app and website show

Vinted's help article "Choosing the price for your item" says to search the catalogue for similar items and gives a rule of thumb by condition:

  • New / Like new: 60–80% of the retail price
  • Very good: 40–60% of the retail price
  • Good / Satisfactory: 20–40% of the retail price

It adds that "setting a price that's lower than our catalog average might help you sell faster", without saying where that average is shown. Nothing in it mentions sold items, a sold filter or price history.

Example: a jacket that retailed at 400 zł, in Very good condition, falls in the 40–60% band: 160–240 zł. That tells you where to look for comparables, not what they went for. Setting your own price is covered in how to price items on Vinted.

Why blog advice about a "sold filter" conflicts

Several blogs tell sellers to "filter by Sold"; at least one source says Vinted shows no sold history. In our search research on 13 September 2026 (a US-based search tool, not Google), the top results for "Vinted sold items" were mostly TikTok pages, a scraper listing and a tool vendor's blog. Before you follow a tip, check:

  • Does it name the country site (vinted.pl, vinted.co.uk) and a date?
  • Does it give the exact filter label?
  • Does the author sell a price tool?
  • Can you find the option in your own app?

If you find it, note the label, site and date. If not, use the exit-price method below.

Sold badges, favourites and what they reveal

Vinted's help article "An item is displayed as 'Sold'" says the "Mark as sold" button is for transactions outside Vinted's payment system and "is not used for reserving items". Sellers who sold on another platform are asked to hide or delete the listing instead, and the article also covers items marked sold by mistake.

So a "Sold" label means a deal Vinted did not process, at a price nothing confirms, or an error. The help pages we read don't describe what a listing shows after a normal "Buy now" order, so we won't describe that badge.

Favourites are weak evidence too. Vinted's "Our platform" page says ranking uses item details (upload date, price, brand), engagement such as views, clicks and favourites, the buyer's history, and Bumps, so many favourites may just mean wide exposure. Log what you track like this:

  • Still live with many favourites after, say, two weeks: log it as a live ask.
  • Labelled "Sold": log the last price as "unconfirmed".
  • Gone from search: check the next section first.

Item disappeared: sold, reserved or deleted?

Vinted's help pages document most of the ways a listing drops out of the catalogue:

What happened What Vinted's pages say For your log
Sold through Vinted Can be deleted "once the transaction is fully completed" (UK help, article 60) Last price, not amount paid
Reserved Hidden from other members; reservation "lasts 5 days" (article 59, also vinted.pl) May come back
Hidden by the seller Not visible in feed or catalogue; can be unhidden (article 60) May come back
Hidden or removed by Vinted Catalogue Rules breaches; the seller gets an inbox message (article 62) Not a sale
Deleted Also asked of sellers who sold elsewhere (article 214) Price unknown
Bundled Bundled items "cannot be listed separately" (Catalogue Rules) Find the bundle
Relisted Terms: don't "delete and re-list the same Item multiple times" Drop it
What happens when a Vinted listing disappears
  1. 1Live listingVisible at its asking price
  2. 2Listing disappearsNo longer in search
  3. 3Possible reasonsSold, reserved, hidden, deleted, removed, bundled or relisted
  4. 4Share of each reasonUnknown without seller data
  5. 5Log as left the marketLast visible price, not a confirmed sale
You see the exit, not its cause.

Two rules follow. If a listing has been gone less than 5 days, it may be reserved, so wait before counting it. If the same photos turn up in a new listing, it was relisted, not sold.

Why exit speed is still a useful signal

An exit is not a sale, but how quickly comparable listings leave still shows where buyers act.

Example: you log 10 comparable jackets on day 1. By day 14, four have been gone more than 5 days with no relist, all priced below 100 zł; the six still live are above it. Buyers act below that line, though no sale price is known. If none leaves, you have only asks.

Turning exits into a chance of leaving within a window is covered in how to check resale demand; measuring your own days to sell, in how long it takes to sell on Vinted.

Estimating sold prices from market exits, honestly

Without sold history, the most honest estimate is the median last price of comparable listings that left the market.

  1. Search for the same brand, item type, size and condition as your item.
  2. Screenshot every close match with its price and date.
  3. Check back on a schedule, for example every three days for two weeks. Count an exit only once a listing has stayed gone more than 5 days, the length of a reservation.
  4. Remove relists and mismatches.
  5. Take the median and note how many listings it rests on.
estimated exit price = median of last visible prices of comparable listings that left the market
Example: last visible prices of 8 comparable jackets that left the market
Listing A60 zł
Listing B75 zł
Listing C80 zł
Listing D85 zł
Listing E90 zł
Listing F95 zł
Listing G110 zł
Listing H140 zł
Example values only. The median sits between the two highlighted bars: (85 + 90) ÷ 2 = 87.50 zł.Illustrative example, not market data

Worked example: the median of the eight prices is 87.50 zł. The average is 735 ÷ 8 = 91.88 zł, pulled up by the single 140 zł listing; drop it and the median only moves to 85 zł. Now say Listings C and D (80 and 85 zł) reappear with the same photos. Six exits remain and the median moves to (90 + 95) ÷ 2 = 92.50 zł. How many comparables you need is covered in how to find sold comps.

Compare item price with item price. On vinted.pl the buyer pays a Buyer Protection fee on top, "usually 5% + 2.90 zł" per the Polish price list (last updated 15.09.2025), shown exactly at checkout. Example: an 87.50 zł jacket carries 7.28 zł at that rate (4.38 + 2.90), but your log shows 87.50 zł. Vinted's new Terms take effect on 8 Oct 2026 in the UK, US and Poland and 5 Oct 2026 in Germany and France; press reports the charge will be renamed "Vinted fee", so re-check the price list then.

Tools that estimate Vinted prices: what to ask them

Several tools appear in search results for Vinted price checking. We haven't reviewed them, so ask each one:

  • Does it say "sold" or "left the market"? If "sold", how does it confirm a sale?
  • How does it tell a sale from a reservation or a relist?
  • How many comparables, from which country site and period, sit behind each estimate?
  • How does it collect data, and has Vinted authorised that?

The last question matters. Vinted's terms (UK version applicable from 30-04-2026, with matching clauses in the Polish version) say users must not "data mine, screen scrape, crawl" any part of the site, and must not use external software tools ("bots, scraping programs, crawling programs, spiders") unless that use is authorised, offered or otherwise allowed by Vinted. Its API documentation says the API is "available only to a limited set of allowlisted Vinted Pro businesses". Press coverage of the October 2026 update for the UK, US and Australia reports no change to the automation rules. Our page on whether Vinted bots are allowed quotes those clauses market by market.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a sold filter on Vinted?
Vinted's help article on choosing a price, checked on 13 September 2026, does not mention one, and we have not tested the app's filters ourselves. The article points you to live listings of similar items. If a blog says to filter by sold, look for that exact label in your own country's app.
Can I see what an item sold for on Vinted?
Not through any feature in the Vinted help articles we read. The closest you get is a listing's last asking price before it disappeared. Even a 'Sold' label proves no price: Vinted says its 'Mark as sold' button is for deals done outside its payment system. Treat any figure as an estimate.
If an item disappears from Vinted, was it sold?
Not necessarily. According to Vinted's help pages, a reservation hides a listing from everyone except one member for up to 5 days, sellers can hide or delete listings, and Vinted hides or removes listings that break its Catalogue Rules. From outside, all of these look like a sale, so record the last price you saw as a 'left the market' price.
Can relisting look like a sale?
Yes. When a seller deletes a listing and posts the same item again, the original vanishes just as a sold one would. Vinted's terms tell users not to delete and re-list the same item multiple times or many items in bulk. Before counting an exit, search for the same photos among new listings and drop any match.
Do Vinted price checker extensions work?
We have not reviewed any of them, so we can't say. To judge one, track a handful of comparable listings by hand for a couple of weeks, work out your own median exit price and compare it with the tool's figure. Be sceptical of any tool that calls its number 'sold' without saying how it confirms a sale.
What do Vinted's terms say about scraping price data?
The UK terms (applicable from 30 April 2026), with matching clauses in the Polish version, say users must not data mine, screen scrape or crawl any part of the site, and must not use external tools such as bots or scraping programs unless Vinted authorises, offers or otherwise allows that use. If you are offered a Vinted price dataset, ask in writing how it was collected. This is general information, not legal advice.
