What the buyer gets with Smart!

A Smart! buyer on Allegro receives free delivery on orders of 49.90 zł or more from a single seller, across all delivery methods Allegro offers. The programme applies to both regular (private) and business accounts on allegro.pl. On Allegro Lokalnie, the threshold is 45 zł (rising to 49.90 zł for Smart! activated after 1 March 2026) when the buyer has Smart!, or they pay a flat 10.95 zł otherwise. What the seller pays on Allegro

On allegro.pl, Allegro covers most of the Smart! transport cost — the platform says it pays "over 80%" on low-value orders. The seller pays a Smart! delivery fee, but the exact fee table is not published in Allegro's public help. The fee depends on order value and delivery method. Important: the Smart! seller fee is not listed in Allegro's public price list. Check your seller dashboard or the Allegro fees page for the current rates before listing. Do not rely on third-party sources — Allegro may update fees without notice.

The fee is deducted from your payout alongside the regular sales commission. If a buyer returns a Smart! order, Allegro covers the return shipping and your delivery co-financing is refunded to you.

Returns, cancellations and co-financing

Smart! orders include return shipping covered by Allegro. When an item is returned, cancelled, or not collected by the buyer, the seller's delivery co-financing is refunded — you do not lose the shipping contribution you made at the time of sale. This applies both on the main Allegro and on Allegro Lokalnie.

This makes Smart! lower-risk for returns compared to covering return shipping yourself.

Smart! on Allegro Lokalnie: the parcel pool

Allegro Lokalnie works differently because it is designed for local, casual sales between private individuals. Only private regular accounts can sell there — business accounts can buy but not publish listings. For the full fee breakdown on Lokalnie, see Allegro Lokalnie fees.

If both you and the buyer have Smart!, Allegro pays for the first 6 parcels per quarter (5 if you have the "Smart! za darmo" programme). Unused parcels do not roll over to the next quarter. The eligible carriers are Allegro Paczkomaty InPost and Allegro One Box only.

If the buyer does not have Smart! or their order is under the threshold (45 zł, or 49.90 zł for Smart! activated after 1 March 2026), they pay a flat 10.95 zł for delivery — you receive the full sale amount with no delivery contribution. Once the free pool is exhausted, Smart! bez limitu lets the buyer still get free delivery — but you pay 4.99 zł per free Smart! sale beyond the pool. For items priced above the threshold, this is often still cheaper than offering no free delivery at all.

The 49.90 zł threshold and your pricing

The 49.90 zł threshold is the key number for Smart! on allegro.pl. Buyers become eligible for free delivery when their cart from one seller reaches this amount. This creates a natural price point to aim for — items priced just above 50 zł qualify for Smart!, which can increase your visibility and conversion rate.

If you sell items in the 30–50 zł range, consider bundling two items together to cross the threshold. For example, two used books at 28 zł each can be listed as a lot at 52 zł — the buyer gets free delivery and you may sell both faster than selling each separately. Psychological pricing also matters: prices just below a round number sell differently than prices that qualify for Smart!. For example, say you have an item worth about 55 zł — listing it at 52 zł with Smart! may outsell a 49 zł listing without it.

The Okazja badge and who can get it

The Okazja (deal) badge marks listings with a notably low price. To qualify, you need:

• A business account on Allegro
• At least neutral sales quality (no recent complaints or low ratings)
• A new product — not second-hand or used
• A price 5–60% below the lowest price for that product in the last 30 days

This badge cannot be used on used items, so private sellers on Allegro Lokalnie cannot access Okazja. It is designed for businesses clearing stock or offering genuine deals on new merchandise.

Is Smart! worth it for your items?

The answer depends on your account type, item price, and sales volume:

On allegro.pl, if your items sell above 50 zł and you want the visibility that free delivery gives, Smart! is usually worth the delivery fee — especially in competitive categories where buyers filter for Smart! listings. For help deciding which Allegro to use, see Allegro vs Allegro Lokalnie.

On Allegro Lokalnie, the first 6 parcels per quarter are free when both sides have Smart!. If you sell more than six Smart! deliveries per quarter, the 4.99 zł fee per additional free delivery kicks in. For items in the 50–100 zł range, this is often still cheaper than losing a sale to a competitor who offers Smart!.

Private sellers on Lokalnie: Smart! is optional but beneficial. Without it, buyers pay 10.95 zł — a flat fee that may deter buyers on lower-priced items. With Smart!, you get access to the free parcel pool and can offer free delivery on orders that meet the threshold.
