OLX Listing Limits by Category

How OLX charges: limits first, fees second

Annex 3 calls each number a "limit of active listings" (Limit aktywnych Ogłoszeń); one limit can cover several categories combined. Check in this order:

• Is the subcategory fully paid? Then every listing costs money.
• Private or business column? Business is 0 in most rows.
• Is there a free slot left in the limit? Then the listing itself is free.
• Adding a promotion, package or pay-if-sold? Each is a separate charge.

Pakiet Ochronny is charged to the buyer: the Terms add it to the item price on OLX delivery orders. Who pays what on Vinted, OLX and Allegro Lokalnie is in marketplace fees in Poland.

Three limits can't be read cleanly, because the PDF runs struck-through old digits into new ones: prams and car seats ("310"), Książki ("30-", "010") and Dom i Ogród / Supermarket ("510"). We don't print a number we can't read with certainty.

Which column applies to you

Decision rule: tick "firmowe" on one phone case and every category switches to the business column, not only accessories. How marketplaces define a business seller is in private vs business seller.

How a limit renews

A limit renews 30 days after the last listing counted in it was published. Some rows set their own period: 1 per 60 days for most furniture, and 2 per 90 days for Dom i Ogród / Budowa / Okna (windows), hand tools (Narzędzia ręczne) and lawnmowers (Kosiarki).

The annex doesn't say whether ending a listing early frees a slot, so don't count on it. Relisting is no workaround either: a listing for the same item ended less than 14 days ago still counts as a duplicate, as OLX refresh vs relist explains. So give the free slots to the items with the widest margin.

Fully paid categories

Point 5 of Annex 3 lists the categories with no free limit:

• Motoryzacja: Samochody osobowe, Motocykle i Skutery, Dostawcze i Ciężarowe, Budowlane, Przyczepy i Naczepy, Samochody na części
• Nieruchomości, except subcategories and locations named in OLX's real-estate price list
• Rolnictwo: Ciągniki, Maszyny rolnicze, Przyczepy
• Usługi, Wypożyczalnia, Praca, Firma i Przemysł / Sprzedam firmę
• Noclegi, except Dla Ukrainy and Za granicą; Zwierzęta / Koty rasowe and Psy rasowe

Decision rule: car parts get 1 free private listing, but a whole car for parts goes in Samochody na części, which is fully paid.

Listing packages and the 500 active-listing cap

Annex 6 names Pakiet Standard, Pakiet Premium and Megapakiet, with up to 500 active listings. Each publication or new emission uses 1 unit, with no refund if OLX removes the listing for a rule breach. Tiers add features such as WebApi import, AutoPrzedłużenie (auto-extend) and a company page.

Decision rule: a package does not top up your private free listings. Using one switches that category to the business column, usually 0, so compare it with paying for every listing there.

Promotions: refresh, highlight, Mini, Midi, Maxi

Annex 2 promotions are separate from listing packages, even though both use the word "Pakiet".

Prices depend on category and duration and appear during publication. If you delete the listing, sell the item or change it to a different item, the promotion ends and the unused part is not refunded (Terms §8). Decision rule: on an item you expect to go within days, pick Pakiet Mini over Maxi.

Pay if you sell: how the commission model works

"Zapłać, jeśli sprzedasz" (Annex 6) requires OLX delivery and Płatności OLX. The commission is a percentage of the gross item price, possibly plus a fixed element, excluding delivery and service fees, and it comes out of your payout once the buyer collects. The Terms (§11.7) order the payout when the buyer confirms receipt, or 48 hours after pickup or delivery with no Pakiet Ochronny claim.

Amounts OLX does not publish
