What a refresh does

Annex 2 defines Odświeżenie as a change of position: the listing is shown above similar listings that use no promotion, though the final position still depends on search relevance, the buyer's sort filter and other promotions.

Terms point 2.16 lists the refresh date among ranking inputs, next to how well the title and parameters match the search. Decision rule: if the title doesn't match what buyers type, fix it before you pay for a refresh.

The duplicate rule and the 14-day window

Terms point 4.4.j, verbatim:

"ten sam Przedmiot może być w danym czasie objęty tylko jednym Ogłoszeniem w kategoriach bezpłatnych i nielimitowanych oraz w kategoriach Nieruchomości, Noclegi, Zwierzęta, przy czym dotyczy to również Ogłoszeń zakończonych przez Użytkownika przed upływem 14 dni od daty dodania nowego Ogłoszenia dotyczącego tego samego Przedmiotu."

In short: one listing per item at a time in those categories, including listings you ended less than 14 days before adding the new one. Example: delete a jacket's listing on 1 October, add it again on 10 October, and you have two listings for one item.

The category wording is unclear. "Bezpłatnych i nielimitowanych" means free and non-limited; the next sentence covers paid and limited categories. Which sentence covers a category with a free quota, such as smartphones, isn't stated. Until OLX clarifies, apply the 14-day window to everything you list for free.

The Terms' own renewal route is point 4.10: from 3 days before a run ends, republish the listing or turn on auto-extension, and a new 30-day run follows (paid in paid categories and above your limit).

What happens to paid promotions when you end a listing

• No refund (Terms 8.14): delete the listing, sell the item or change it to a different item, and fees for the unused period stay with OLX.
• No reactivation (Annex 2): a highlight or promotion package ended that way can't be switched back on.
• No transfer (Terms 7.3): a promotion belongs to one listing.

Checklist before you pay for visibility

• Not ended and re-added in the last 14 days
• Title, category and condition match what buyers search for
• More than 3 days left in the run; otherwise compare republishing
• No plan to delete, sell locally or swap the item soon
• Promotion price noted from the publication screen, since OLX doesn't publish it
