Allegro Lokalnie vs OLX

Allegro Lokalnie vs OLX at a glance

Fees: commission on sale vs listing quotas

Allegro Lokalnie lists for free, except motoring and real estate packages. The fee applies once the buyer pays within 72 hours or fills in the delivery form (cash on delivery or pickup). It goes on your Allegro account bill and is refunded if you refund the buyer through Allegro.

OLX documents how you pay, not how much:

• listings beyond your category quota, and fully paid categories such as cars;
• listing packages; promotions such as Odświeżenie (refresh) and Wyróżnienie (highlight), priced during publication;
• "Zapłać, jeśli sprzedasz": a percentage of the gross price, possibly plus a fixed element, deducted from your payout. It needs OLX shipping and Płatności OLX; Annex 6 gives no rate.

On OLX delivery the buyer also pays Pakiet Ochronny, an amount "indicated in the listing each time".

Decision rule: write down every price OLX shows you before you confirm a listing; a price you haven't seen is not zero. Lokalnie's full fee table: Allegro Lokalnie fees.

Listing limits and account types

OLX Annex 3 (effective 7 January 2026) sets free listings per category. A limit renews 30 days after the last listing counted in it was published, unless the table gives another period. The "firmowe" parameter or Business User status moves you to business limits, which are 0 in many categories.

Allegro Lokalnie gates by account: only regular accounts, which Allegro describes as for private individuals, can publish. Business accounts can buy but not sell. The Lokalnie pages we read set no per-category quota.

Rule: an Allegro business account can't sell on Lokalnie. Whether your flipping counts as a business is a question for a tax adviser. Quotas by category: the OLX reselling guide; the account rule: the Allegro Lokalnie seller guide.

Delivery options and prices

On Lokalnie, if you and the buyer both have Smart!, Allegro pays for the first 6 parcels per quarter; unused parcels don't roll over. On Smart! bez limitu you then pay 4.99 zł per free Smart! sale.

Rule: agree cash at pickup on OLX and no Pakiet Ochronny fee is charged, so none of its cover applies.

Buyer protection and claims

OLX Pakiet Ochronny covers Przesyłka OLX orders: an empty parcel, or an item not matching the listing, including function and undisclosed damage. Change of mind isn't covered. The buyer has 48 hours from pickup or delivery; you get 120 hours to respond, and OLX decides within 30 days. After an accepted claim the item returns via Zwroty OLX at your cost; fill in the return form and pay within 72 hours or the buyer is refunded.

Allegro Ochrona Kupujących covers Kup teraz and auction purchases on Lokalnie. On allegro.pl a non-delivery claim is possible 7 days after the buyer opens a Dyskusja (discussion); for Lokalnie the page says 14 days. Compensation isn't always 100%, and a seller may be suspended and asked to repay Allegro.

Rule: on OLX delivery, show every fault in text and photos, because undisclosed damage is claimable.

Payout timing

Under §11.7 of its Terms, OLX orders your payout when the buyer confirms a conforming item, or 48 hours after pickup or delivery with no claim. Bank transfer time isn't stated. If you reject the order, miss the 72-hour confirmation or the 3-working-day handover, or lose a claim, the buyer is refunded automatically.

OLX withholds payouts if you don't give DAC7 data within 60 days after at least 2 reminders. The Lokalnie pages we read don't say when you receive the buyer's money, so treat payout speed there as unknown. For DAC7, Allegro counts your Allegro and Lokalnie accounts together per calendar year; this is general information, not tax advice; ask an adviser.

Scams: what the rules let you check

OLX's Terms say consumer-protection rules don't apply between consumers, and OLX isn't a party to the sale.

• A buyer sends a link to "receive" payment: stop. Under §11.7 OLX orders payouts itself; the Terms we read describe no buyer link
• Keep contact data out of OLX listing text: the Terms ban it
• Cash pickup on OLX sits outside Pakiet Ochronny, and Allegro's protection page names Kup teraz and auctions, not local listings: count the money before handing over

Which items suit each (rules and fees, no ranking)

Sorted by the rule that hits first, not by sales data.

• Third phone in a limit period, private user: a paid OLX listing at an unpublished price, or 4.9% on Lokalnie Kup teraz. Pre-sale checks: reselling used iPhones.
• Second sofa within 60 days: OLX's furniture limit is used; a Lokalnie local listing costs 0 zł.

Using both

• Don't promote an OLX copy that may sell elsewhere: the unused fee isn't refunded once the item is sold
• Sold elsewhere with an OLX delivery order pending: reject it, and OLX refunds the buyer automatically
• Sold elsewhere after a Lokalnie buyer paid: refund through Allegro, which also refunds your fee
• Delete the other copy once a buyer commits, and don't re-add it on OLX within 14 days
