The published rules in one place

Vinted (Poland): Selling is free for individuals. The buyer pays the Buyer Protection fee, which the Polish price list says is "zwykle 5% + 2,90 zł" (usually 5% + 2.90 zł). This goes on top of your listed price. You receive exactly what you set. Note: Vinted's updated Terms take effect on 8 October 2026, introducing a new "opłata Vinted" fee. Allegro Lokalnie: Listing is free. The seller pays 7.9% of the item value on "Kup teraz" and auctions, or 4.9% on electronics. Local listings (buyer picks up) cost 0 zł. The fee only charges if the buyer pays within 72 hours or fills in the delivery form. See Allegro Lokalnie fees for details.

Allegro (full platform): Commission varies by category. The fee page shows a worked example: a 200 zł item in fashion costs 19.40 zł = 12.65 zł (11.5% of the first 110 zł) + 6.75 zł (7.5% of the remaining 90 zł).

OLX: The "Zapłać, jeśli sprzedasz" (pay if you sell) service charges a commission as a percentage of the gross item price, possibly plus a fixed element. The exact rate is shown when you set up the listing.

Band 1: a 50 zł item

For example, say you list an item for 50 zł. On Vinted, you receive the full 50 zł because Vinted charges nothing on the seller side. On Allegro Lokalnie, the 7.9% fee would take about 3.95 zł. The buyer on Vinted pays roughly 5% + 2.90 zł = 5.40 zł on top of your 50 zł, which is the buyer's cost, not yours.

For local pickup on Allegro Lokalnie, a buyer without Smart! or an order under 45 zł (under 49.90 zł if Smart! was activated after 1 March 2026) pays a flat 10.95 zł delivery. That makes a 50 zł item expensive to ship for the buyer, which may slow sales.

Band 2: a 200 zł item

For example, say you sell for 200 zł. On Allegro Lokalnie, 7.9% = 15.80 zł, so you receive 184.20 zł. The full Allegro platform, using their worked example, charges 19.40 zł on a 200 zł fashion item, leaving you with 180.60 zł.

Vinted still gives you the full 200 zł. The buyer pays roughly 5% + 2.90 zł = 12.90 zł extra. If your item fits Vinted's fashion-and-accessories focus and ships as a parcel, Vinted wins on payout.

Band 3: an 800 zł electronics item

For example, say the item costs 800 zł. Electronics on Allegro Lokalnie charge 4.9% = 39.20 zł, leaving you with 760.80 zł. On Vinted, you receive the full 800 zł — but the buyer pays roughly 5% + 2.90 zł = 42.90 zł on top of your price. That buyer-side fee makes expensive electronics less attractive on Vinted, which can slow down sales.

On the full Allegro platform, electronics commission ranges from 2.5% to 8% depending on subcategory, so 800 zł could cost anywhere from 20 zł to 64 zł in fees. The exact rate depends on the specific electronics category.

Comparison table

Fees are not the whole choice

The platform with the lowest fee may not give you the best result. Consider three other factors:

1. Demand: Where do buyers in your category actually search? Electronics and brand-name fashion move well on Allegro. Everyday clothes and accessories move on Vinted.
2. Speed: A cheaper fee means nothing if your item sits unsold. Local pickup on Allegro Lokalnie attracts serious buyers who want the item now.
3. Your effort: Vinted handles shipping labels and buyer protection automatically. On Allegro and OLX, you manage more of the process yourself.
